2011/12 - Canticles & Cries

Concerts & Tickets: Music Director's Intro

An Invitation from our Music Director,
Mark Vuorinen

Mark Vuorinen

Welcome to an exciting new season of the Toronto Chamber Choir!

At our opening Kaffeemusik you’ll bask in the rich surround-sound sonorities of Ockeghem’s 36-voice motet: Deo Gratias and explore the Medieval modes in his Missa Cuiusvis Toni.

At Christmas we’ll thrill you with motets and carols from all ages and all lands.

In March, our guests, the Cardinal Consort, will join the choir to enliven raucous street cries and cathedral classics in a programme spanning the Renaissance and the Baroque.

And, to finish our season we return to a TCC mainstay, J.S. Bach.  Come to hear Cantata 39, ‘Break your bread for the hungry’ and contribute to a food drive for those in our city who live with less.

Please join us for an exquisite season of Canticles & Cries!

You’ll be glad you did!
